ISE gives assent to the purport of the “IP Open Access Declaration against COVID-19”, and has participated in this declaration.
This Declaration includes the diagnosing, preventing, containing and treating of novel coronavirus infections, and in regard to conduct whose objective is to end the novel coronavirus infections pandemic, and it declares that there will not be any seeking of considerations or compensation, and that that the exercising of the patent rights which one possesses shall not be conducted for a certain period of time.
ISE makes these declarations, and shall release the intellectual property rights which pertain to the AI-related technologies, etc. which pertain to the data structures that ISE possesses, and to the matching of various digital information and analog information for a certain period of time free of charge, and in particular, we shall promote cross-industry utilization by companies and research institutes around the world which are related to the medical care and nursing care fields. By utilizing ISE’s technologies and services to actualize contactless communications with the right information, at the right time, in the right amount of (information), and in the right language, we are going to contribute to the early termination of the novel coronavirus infection pandemic.
